After School STEAMS

Through federal funding provided by the Nita M Lowey 21st CCLC grant, the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit is able to offer summer programs at Milton, Mt. Carmel and Shamokin School Districts. These programs provide students the opportunity to participate in teacher-led STEM activities, physical fitness, homework help, community partnerships, and career/college readiness activities. In addition to out-of-school time learning, students will be provided a healthy snack or dinner from the PA Food Bank. Enrollment into the STEAMS program will be based on teacher recommendation, attendance, student behavior, and academic need. Transportation will be provided upon request. Please review your school program’s start and end times prior to enrollment. Complete this form and wait for communication from the STEAMS program coordinators to confirm enrollment. IMPORTANT - Parents and Guardians are responsible for letting the staff know about changes to transportation, custody, attendance and any other student related information.

The STEAMS program operates for the 2.5 hours immediately after school,  Monday - Thursday.

Please fill out this Google Form if you are interested in registering your child for this program.
