District Goals

  2. Create a district culture where students, teachers, and staff members feel valued and respected leading to improved performance in all areas, increased engagement, and overall well-being.

Dr. John S. Bickhart Performance Objectives 

  1. During the 2024-2025 school year, the Superintendent and Leadership Team will provide instructional leadership with a direct focus on walk-throughs to engage teachers in conversation about instruction.

  2. The Superintendent, in conjunction with the Business Administrator, will prepare and present a balanced budget (recognizing the need for an appropriate fund balance) to the Board for approval by May 20, 2025. This will include an update focused on the long-term financial resiliency of the district.

  3. The Superintendent will work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels to assess the implementation of the District’s K-5 re-alignment and schedule change at the secondary level.

  4. The Superintendent will provide policies for Board review and approval to ensure compliance and updated processes throughout the district.

  5. The Superintendent will work collaboratively with the Facilities Director to continue implementation and define specific goals for the 2024-2025 school year based on the long-term plan focused on the interior and exterior priorities of the school district buildings and grounds.

  6. The Superintendent will work with all departments to focus on our image and profile as a district. This will include our website and social media presence, our internal and external customer service processes, hiring campaigns, and overall presence within the community.
